We collect only what is needed to run the App:
- Account information: when you create an account or sign in (including with Google or Apple), we receive your email address and name. You may also choose a username and an avatar.
- Content you share: QR code links, menu photos, lists, upvotes and the accounts you follow. Location details embedded in a photo are removed when it is uploaded.
- Location data: if you enable location services, your location is used to show nearby restaurants and menus.
- Usage data: we may collect anonymized usage statistics to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve the App's functionality.
- To display the menus, lists and profiles that users share.
- To review reported content and keep the App safe.
- To analyze user engagement and enhance the user experience.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Content you choose to share publicly (menu links, menu photos, public lists, and your username and avatar) is visible to other users of the App. Content you keep private is not shown to other users. We may share non-personal, aggregated data with service providers for analytics purposes.
4. User-Shared Content and Third-Party Links
Menus in the App are shared by users, and QR code links open third-party websites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content of user-shared menus, or for the content and privacy practices of these external websites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect stored data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. User Rights and Data Removal
You can delete the content you have shared, and delete your account, from within the App. You can also request the removal of any content or data by contacting us at contact@notapps.io.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
