Welcome to Carte App. By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

Carte is a free, community-driven app where users share restaurant menus with one another, as QR code links or as photos of a menu, and organise restaurants into lists. All menus, links, photos and lists in the App are submitted by users. Carte does not create, own, edit, verify or endorse this content; we only provide the platform through which users share it with each other. Carte is not affiliated with the restaurants shown in the App.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Share only QR code links, menu photos and lists that you have the right to share and that do not infringe third-party rights.
• Not include people, faces or personal information in the photos you upload.
• Not submit or share misleading, illegal, or harmful content.
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not impersonate any person or entity, including restaurants, or falsely claim to represent them.

You are solely responsible for the content you share.

3. User Content and Ownership

• All menus, QR code links, photos and lists in the App are shared by users and remain the responsibility of the user who shared them. We do not claim ownership of this content.
• QR code links open third-party websites that we do not host or control. Menu photos are shown as the user uploaded them; we do not edit or verify what they say.
• By sharing content publicly, you allow Carte to display it to other users of the App.
• All trademarks, logos, and restaurant names belong to their respective owners. Carte is not affiliated with or endorsed by any restaurant or brand.
• If you believe content shared in the App violates your rights, you can report it in the App or request its removal by contacting contact@notapps.io.

4. Privacy Policy

By using the App, you acknowledge that we collect and process certain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Moderation and Removal of Content

We may review content shared by users, but doing so does not make us responsible for it and does not mean we have verified it. We reserve the right to remove any menu link, photo or list that:

• Is inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Violates intellectual property rights.
• Is reported as unauthorized by restaurant owners or other stakeholders.
• Contains harmful, offensive, or illegal material.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Menus are shared by users and may be outdated, incomplete or wrong. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any menu, including its prices, dishes, ingredients and allergen information. Always confirm with the restaurant.
• We are not responsible for content shared by users, or for any damages resulting from relying on it or from the use of third-party websites opened through QR codes.
• The App is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms.
